My daddy loves

Kishore Kumar songs.

I find it very weird that I know the lyrics to a lot of Kishore Kumar songs. And I might have not even heard them. But you know how they say that a baby can even hear when in the womb? I seriously feel that's where I learnt the lyrics!!! Dad would sing all the time. Mom would get so mad. Not that Dad doesn't sing well, because he has a great voice. But it's loud and booming, and early morning, he'd go into the bathroom and sing. Hee hee. But yeah. I love Kishore Kumar because his songs remind me of my dad. My dad's favourite song was this one:

Main hoon jhum jhum jhum jhum jhumroo phakkad
Ghunghroo banke ghoomoon main yeh
Pyaar ka geet sunaataa chalaa
Manzil pe meri nazar
Main duniya se bekhabar
Beeti baaton pe dhool udaataa chalaa

And the yoodooleyee that follows, my Dad mimics that to a T. That was the part I loved.

You're my very own personal Kishore Kumar, Dadsu. Could I be any luckier? :)

My daddy likes

David Blaine.

It so happened that he bought a Blaine DVD, and I got really excited about it. So I made him sit and watch it with me. And he was blown away. For the next two weeks, all we spoke about was Blaine, and his amazing magic. In fact, dad didn't even want to call it magic. He felt like it was something more than that, something powerful, beyond explanation. I agree with you wholeheartedly, daddy. And that was a really fun day, wasn't it? :)

My daddy loves

the colour blue.

Thus, I chose this template for him.

He even looks great in blue.

Can you tell he's almost 60???

You don't look a day older than 40, Dad. You always wanted to look young, didn't you? Well, now everyone will remember you this way :)
